The NIHR Cambridge Clinical Research Facility (CRF), is part of the National Institute for Health and Care Research and is hosted by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Cambridge CRF is dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative research. Tela partnered with Cambridge Clinical Research to enhance its online presence, supporting its mission to deliver impactful and high quality healthcare studies.
Objectives
Our main objectives for this project were to create an intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible platform for all users, including patients and industry partners. We needed to effectively showcase the CRF’s innovative research, key partnerships, and leadership within the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Additionally, it was important to highlight the CRF’s prominent role in supporting world-class research, focusing on their contributions to healthcare studies through their cutting-edge facilities and public involvement initiatives.
What We Did
To achieve these goals, Tela developed a user-friendly WordPress website that aligns with the NIHR’s brand guidelines and accessibility standards. We created dedicated sections for patients/public, and also industry/partners, with clear navigation to ensure ease of use. We highlighted CRF’s research and areas of expertise through well-structured content and designed engaging visuals to showcase their areas of expertise as shown on the ‘About us’ page. We completed multiple accessibility tests to guarantee compliance with the latest accessibility standards.
