Tela has collaborated with the Saffron Walden Round Table for several years on their 8 Day Weekend event and we’ve recently refreshed the website in preparation for the next event in 2025. The 8 Day Weekend is a highly anticipated event held every three years in Saffron Walden, bringing the entire town together to celebrate and raise money for local charities.
Objectives
The main objectives for the project were to create a modern and stylish website that is visually appealing and user-friendly. The site needed to be easy for the Round Table team to update and manage, while also allowing for the sale of event tickets.
What We Did
Tela developed a WordPress site with WooCommerce integration, utilising its ticketing system and events calendar to streamline the event management process. The site also provides QR codes for ticket purchasers, ensuring a smooth entry experience. The final result is a responsive, modern site that is both functional and attractive, tailored to meet the needs of both event organisers and attendees.
