Based across 13 offices covering the whole of the UK & Ireland, BLM has a team of over 200 partners and more than 800 legal specialists dedicated to delivering legal services in insurance and risk law. Tela’s brief was to deliver a new mobile responsive user interface and give the website a refreshed look and feel which reflected new brand guidelines.
The main objective of the project was to create a new interface that positioned BLM as a leading insurance and risk law firm while offering a better user experience to people accessing the website via mobile devices. The site architecture and general usability had potential to be improved and the new online proposition needed to support and complement other marketing channels to present a joined-up brand experience.
Tela worked closely with BLM to conduct a thorough analysis of content across the website in order to define scope for improvements. Based on the research findings, a set of wireframes were created and refined which helped introduce new ideas for functionality as well as ensuring the proposed structure would suit the content and new brand requirements.
A mobile responsive website design was created to allow all of the content to adapt according the device on which it was being viewed from. The UI and UX was designed and built in line with the new BLM brand guidelines and included a better use of calls to action to help optimise user journeys and funnel more traffic through to conversion focused areas.
